I am back! Sorry about that. Alright now where was I? Oh yes! Or maybe it's both...
Some days you may think your doing good and some days you may not think as much but on those days you need to remember the times when you feel great doing what your doing so that you can realize that what your doing is good and it's simply the devil trying to take over you again. Your job as a human is to sin (don't take this the wrong way) and not only that but also to be redeemed by the only one who can truly redeem you all the way. Your job as human is to believe, to love, and to truly be yourself no matter what others think. And if that means loosing a friend then so be it. Don't let some human stand in your way of being joyful, and of yourself, and of loving God. If that's the case then do your best to get away and if that's impossible then do your best to behave and to be an example to him/her in the time being. Do not let them be the example for you if the example is not something worth being exampled.
Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Psalms 22:24-25 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.
Psalms 41:9 Even my close friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Psalms 42:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation
Psalms 66:17-20 I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!
1Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; you need to be still.
My definition of good would be modest. To love God and speak to Him daily, to laugh a lot, to enjoy every moment before they are no longer, and to love. Now because I am a sinner I don't do these things daily as I should. More like once a week. But hey, at least I do it right! Wrong. God isn't looking for perfection but He does want us to do good.
