What the Bible has to say about: Angels and Demons

What are Angels?
Angels are spiritual beings created by God to worship him and work on his behalf.

How are we to interact with Angels?

1) Do not worship them or pray to them.

Rev. 22:8-9
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”

2) DO entertain them.

Hebrews 13:2
2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Psalm 91:11-12
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

Satan: Name of the chief of demons fallen angel who is known as:
-the evil one
- ruler of this world
- prince of the power of the air
- father of lies serpent
-be-ezelbul

Ezekiel 28:12-17
12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You were the seal of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
carnelian, chrysolite and emerald,
topaz, onyx and jasper,
lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.

How are we to respond to Satan and demons?
1) Resist the devil
2) Draw near to God

James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

What the Bible has to say about: Worry

What does worry do for us? Does it help us in tough situations?

Only God can take away your worries. So throw all your worries away and trust in God. He will always be by your side!

Matthew 6:31-32
31 "...do not worry, saying 'what shall we eat?' or 'what shall we drink?' or 'what shall we wear?"
32 "For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them."

God will provive everything you need, so don't worry.

Matthew 6:33
 " But seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Pray.

Matthew 6:34
 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own."

It's not our job to be worried to afraid, but to trust God, and pray. Pray like there's no tomorrow.
