Week 27

Life has it's ups and downs, everyone goes through bad things because no ones life is perfect. But everyone is also very different,  some people might have the same problem but they handle it differently and some people could have a totally different problem yet they handle it the same. So when the waves of life settle down and the troubles finally come to an end everyone has a different result and some are good and some are worse than before they started. The difference between these two people is that one does not have God. If you have God with you throughout your trouble you'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And when you reach the end of this tunnel you will be re-newed, re-freshed, and re-built. You are becoming the person that God created you to be. You are becoming you!

Let's say you are a glass of water and someone (Satan) had a dropper full of:
  • Impurity
  • Envy
  • Pride
  • Greed
  • Lust
  • Anger
  • Rage
  • Malice
  • Filthy Language
  • Etc.
And he squeezed that dropper with one of these things into your glass of water a few times a day. Your glass of water will be very dirty in the end. God can re-new your cup. Refresh your water. And re-build your life. If you've already done this before, but a week later, maybe, you don't feel new anymore than that's because you were looking for pleasing you own self instead of others... instead of God. Look to Him because He will make you feel new. He will make you feel good.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4 NIV

Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.
Philippians 2:4 MSG
